THE PHALLUS: ANATOMY AND FUNCTION

The penis is the masculine reproductive organ. It's a fleshy tube that extends from the lower abdominal region. The outside part of the penis, called the glans, is highly sensitive to touch and functions in sexual pleasure. Inside the penis are three structures of tissue called corpora cavernosa and one central column called the corpus spongiosum.
